The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center Volunteers Association was formed in 2002 by a group of people in the community who were interested in educating school groups, community groups, and the general public on the identification and natural history of wildlife in Columbiana County.  The Association is a non-profit organization and may receive grants, contributions, and donations of money, property, and services to enhance the facilities, provide educational programs, and promote and make improvements to the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center. 

General meetings are held each month.  Programs and activities are nature-related, family-friendly, and open to all members of the community. 

There are two types of membership available:  Active and Supporting. 

·         Active memberships are available to people who are willing to give their time and money to the support and betterment of the Wildlife Education Center.  It is required that active members spend a minimum of fifteen (15) hours per year on Wildlife Education Center projects, activities or helping at the Center on the weekends. 

·         Supporting memberships are available to persons or groups who would like to donate money or supplies to the Center.  There is no requirement for time to become a supporting member.
